Anyhow, this hotel was a fantastic experience! It was located just far enough from the plaza to keep things a bit more relaxed, but close enough for a couple-minute walk into the heart of Cusco. We received a room we requested by photo from the internet, and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and hot water (not to mention water pressure*) available at all hours of the day. I am a very light sleeper, so my only complaint would be that the thin walls made way for me waking up a few times during the night, but my boyfriend (who sleeps fairly normally; not too heavy, not too light) slept perfectly every night. Otherwise, I can't rave about the service enough. Breakfast was delicious and quaint--fresh orange juice, bread, and either ham and cheese or eggs made fresh for you and to your liking. The rooms were always clean and the hotel kept my extra money safe for me in their safety deposit box. Hugo, in particular, also helped us over and over in planning our trip to Machu Picchu on a budget. I couldn't believe how far he went in making sure we were taken care of, and when we returned the whole staff asked with smiles how our trip had went and seemed excited to hear about it. Overall, I was very impressed with the beauty, location, cleanliness, and hospitality this hotel had to offer--definitely recommended!!!!!!!!
